Hello from Brownie!
Happy New Year to everybody!
As Catherine has written, we spent a rather surreal New Years over here! We had Sake. It was pretty horrible. I wasnt sick. I ate duck. Then a banana coated in Chocolate. Then chicken. Then corn on the cob. Basically just ate my way through the New Year.
We went to Kamakura again, which is very peaceful and picturesque and a good antidote to Tokyo. Tokyo is overwhelming, which can be awe inspiring but also frustrating...tryng to find an internet cafe yesterday took us forever. In fact we didnt find one. Ended up eating in a `Victorian Pub` which was basically ridiculous. There was a mistranslation outside which said `Man hath better things to do than eat well and drink`
Think there was a `no` missing...
